Synopsis To be directed by Wayne Wang (The Joy Luck Club, Chinese Box, Maid In Manhattan), Good Cook, Likes Music, a light-hearted romantic comedy, will follow a lovable slacker (Adam Sandler) who lives with his mother in a trailer park. One night, while in a drunken stupor, he sends away for a mail-order bride (Zhang Ziyi) who ends up being a musical prodigy. The relationship that results changes both their lives. Though anticipated, no official announcement has yet been made of either the cast or production date. The plot of the planned film centers around a slacker and lovable loser who lives with his mother in a trailer park. One drunken night, he sends away for a mail-order bride who ends up being a musical prodigy, and they change each other's lives.
