Zhang Ziyi Invited Again To Join Venice Film Festival Jury

Zhang Ziyi has been formally invited by organizers of the Venice International Film Festival
to be a jurer at this year's festival in September. Acceptance of the invitation would have made her only the second mainland Chinese actress
after Gong Li to have received the great honor.
Unfortunately, Ziyi had to politely refuse once again because of a schedule conflict. Last year, she had to turn down the
invitation to participate in the filming of Memoirs of a Geisha.
First established in 1932, the Venice International Film Festival is the oldest, currently active film festival in the world. The 62nd
session of the festival will be held from August 31 through September 10, 2005, in Venice, Italy.
